A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Commissioner of Agriculture to promulgate a legislative rule relating to captive cervids.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:

ARTICLE 9. authorization for miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. Commissioner of Agriculture.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on August 26, 2016, authorized under the authority of section one, article two-h, chapter nineteen of this code, modified by the Commissioner of Agriculture to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on September 23, 2016, relating to the Commissioner of Agriculture (Captive Cervid, 61 CSR 34), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Commissioner of Agriculture to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Captive Cervid.
